What it takes to be listed

1. Licensed for the work, where the state requires a license. If your trade needs none, we confirm that with the state.
2. Insured, with a current certificate of insurance we read ourselves.
3. Your most recent business tax return (or an IRS transcript, or a letter from your CPA), read by a person.
4. Two real people from the business, each verified by ID before the listing goes live.
5. A recorded phone interview about complaints, refunds, pricing and guarantees. Passing is 24 of 30, with no red flags.
6. No failed checks, and nothing left unchecked. We do not approve on a maybe.
7. Only the top 10 in each service, in each city. Strict on purpose.
